Abstract: During this keynote presentation, students will learn how to overcome challenging times, and not be a victim of their circumstance. Using my PAG framework, students will be provided the perspective and strategies to reframe negative self-talk, and how to use gratitude and acceptance to live an abundant, courageous life.

Failing Upward - Showing Up Courageously Despite Fear

Who is this For: Grades 9-12, College Students

Length: 45, 60 Minutes

Abstract: During this workshop, students will learn to navigate their fear of failure and strengthen resilience not only as they lead their lives, but in their communities as well. We will deconstruct ways limiting beliefs are stopping them from taking bold action, and analyze the effects one’s mindset has on efforts, performance, achievements, and joy.

  • Explore how the fear of failure manifests.

  • Understand the impact learned helplessness has on decision-making.

  • Analyze the role fear has on their beliefs, self-talk, and how they show up in the world.

Becoming a Mental Health Warrior

Who is this For: Grades 9-12, College Students

Length: 45, 60 Minutes

Abstract: During this workshop, students will learn that mental health is something everyone struggles with and everyone has to nurture. Students will be honest with themselves about what jeopardizes their mental health and create practices that they can do daily to strengthen their mental health.

Students will be able to

  • Define mental health.

  • Identify when their mental health is in jeopardy.

  • Create a plan for taking care of and nurturing their mental health.

Unlocking Your Creative Potential

Who is this For: Grades 9-12, College Students

Length: 45, 60 Minutes

Abstract: During this workshop, students will develop their innate ability for thinking and creating more imaginatively discovering the full scope of their potential. They will answer questions like "What if I did that?" "What if I tried that?" "What if I created that?" and learn to combat limiting beliefs that arise by taking bold creative action. We will examine entrepreneurs, artists, thinkers their journeys, failures, triumphs, and courage leading students to answer the question "Why not me?”. Lastly, students will create their mini-plan showcasing how they will use their creativity to impact their communities.

Students will be able to

  • Apply problem-solving skills to the creative process.

  • Examine working methods, mindset, and contributions of well-known entrepreneurs, artists, and thinkers.

  • Create a mini presentation reflecting on their curiosity as it relates to using their gifts to impact their community.


Becoming a Gratitude Ninja

Who is this For: Grades 9-12, College Students

Length: 45, 60 Minutes

Abstract: During this workshop, students will learn how to release fear and self-judgment. They will understand the important role gratitude plays in living an abundant life and design a gratitude practice that speaks to who they are as a person.

Students will be able to

Analyze the effects comparison and thoughts of “not being good enough” have on them. 

  • Dissect ways to combat negative self-talk with gratitude. 

  • Understand what gratitude is, the role it plays in our lives, and how to build a gratitude practice. 

  • Design personalized gratitude practice.
